Q 01: What is the Launch Team?
It’s actually the most literal name ever. The Launch Team is an ever-growing team of amazing people who feel connected to the vision and heart of Hope Valley Church and who have committed to helping us launch this new life-giving church in Knoxville. Many are from Knoxville and some are moving from different areas to be a part of this. Our goal is to build this team as big as possible from now until September.
Q 02: Can I be on the Launch Team?
Absolutely! We would be honored to serve our amazing city alongside you. We are praying daily for God to bring a passionate, faith-filled, unified group of people together who are committed to seeing people in Knoxville move forward on their spiritual journey by helping them know God, find freedom, discover their purpose and go make a difference. YOU could be an answer to those prayers.
Q 03: What will happen between now and in-person launch Fall of 2021?
Our focus over the next few months is to build our team, introduce them to the culture of Hope Valley Church and develop the leadership of every person on our team.
Startup Parties are a once a month event that serves as the front door of Hope Valley. These nights are high-energy, low pressure introductions to our team and vision.
Team Nights happen on an every-other-week schedule and are where we grow as a team, laugh, talk leadership skills and find out our next steps in the launch process. We’ll be hosting a few other events over the summer to serve our city, celebrate and create opportunities to invite people to check out Hope Valley Church.
Q 04: What do we ask of our Launch Team?
First, prayerfully consider if you are to be a part of our team. If this is something you’re connected to and ready to commit to, let us know! We can’t wait to get to know you and build with you!
Second, jump in… ready to serve and ready to build! The best way to get to know others and grow as an individual is by being at Team Nights and events.
Third, commit yourself to the process. You’ll get out what you put in and the people who thrive are the ones who make the effort necessary to enjoy the benefits of being a part of a vibrant team and community.
